Omnichannel pet retailer Fressnapf | Maxi Zoo, which is based in Krefeld,
Germany, has introduced AskMIA – an AI-powered extension of its internal
knowledge and task platform – to make its animal expertise available in all
of its stores.
AskMIA is based on a large language model that has been trained using
comprehensive in-house pet knowledge. Store employees can ask
questions and upload images to receive context-specific expert answers
during customer consultations. The solution can be used on both mobile
and stationary devices, supplementing the existing expertise of teams with
specialised knowledge that can be accessed at any time.
AskMIA thus enables consistent, competent advice and improves service
quality sustainably in all stores.
