Globus​

German retailer Globus has implemented Intelligent Data Modelling (iDM), a fully SAP-integrated consulting solution developed and implemented by Globus’s SAP provider, consenso Consulting, designed to ensure the long-term quality of master data.​

The previous quality assurance system, which used Excel-based reporting, was unable to handle either the growing complexity of the data landscape or Globus’s several million data records. consenso’s iDM effectively addresses these challenges.​

iDM provides holistic checks and automated correction of relevant SAP objects, supporting intra-day runs and ad hoc analyses. Over 100 rules check millions of data records daily, with a significant proportion of errors corrected automatically. The HANA-based solution, which features an SAP Fiori front end, eliminates media breaks.​

This significantly reduces manual effort and the need for rework, providing employees with noticeable relief while maintaining consistently high data quality.
