Up until now, price labelling at Lengermann & Trieschmann (L&T), the brick-and-mortar fashion retailer in Osnabrück, has been done entirely manually. Each product has a printed paper label, either attached by the supplier or by L&T itself. Every time the price of an item changes, considerable manpower is required to mark the new price on each individual item. The pricing and implementation processes are correspondingly complex, error-prone and time-consuming. For this reason, price changes are only made three times per season. Short-term events cannot be taken into account, resulting in avoidable margin losses due to fixed reduction phases. L&T, GK AIR and Vusion are addressing this challenge through a joint development partnership. ​

At the start of the autumn/winter 2025 season, the project partners introduced Vusion’s digital Esway hang tags for around 20,000 items in the L&T sales area. At the same time, GK AIR’s price optimisation software was introduced. The tags’ state-of-the-art radio technology is key to the project, enabling real-time pricing and the use of localisation data. ​

This is intended to support the picking processes of the company’s own online shop, as well as future theft prevention measures. The data obtained is particularly valuable in this regard.
