RTG, operator of Globus, Bartels-Langness (famila), Bünting (famila & Combi), Georg Jos. Kaes (V-Markt), and Netto, has teamed up with Cyreen to develop the C.A.P. system, which creates a closed loop between buyer recognition, advertising insertion, and checkout data.
RFID tags on shopping carts and baskets activate advertising only when customers are nearby. These targeted campaign impressions are then linked to anonymized checkout data, enabling precise measurement of the advertising impact on sales. This innovation ensures that advertising remains relevant and measurable by linking it to customers’ actual purchases.
