CIA CONAD ​

CIA CONAD, a cooperative within the Conad Group in northeast Italy, faced the challenge of scaling its replenishment and planning processes for a rapidly growing network. To cope with increasing complexity in terms of product range, suppliers, and volumes, the cooperative implemented an AI- and ML-based solution from RELEX Solutions for forecasting, automated replenishment planning, and dynamic safety stock management across all eight distribution centers.​

The solution enables end-to-end automation and data-driven decision-making in the management of inventory, procurement, and supplier flows. It creates transparency through comprehensive supplier performance monitoring and structured reporting, while providing a flexible technological foundation for efficient and sustainable network growth.​

Since implementation, CIA CONAD has achieved a 6% improvement in sales from warehouse to store members, a 3% reduction in inventory, and a 13% increase in inventory turnover.
